Tamar the Great was the ruler of Georgia monarchy in 13th century and gained an outstanding reputation among his people. Her political and military influences put the neighboring Muslim states into submission and she has a direct and active control over the entire Georgian army. Her reign is currently considered as the Golden Age in Georgian history, which reached the apex of its cultural, economic and political might. She aided in the establishment of the Empire of Trebizond and annexed a large territory.
