6. Emperor scorpion
Growing to up 8 inches long, the Emperor scorpion is one of the largest scorpions; also with fat, black claws and stinger they do look fierce. When held in captivity, the Emperor scorpion may have a life span up to 8 years and it has very unique venom called imperatoxin, which disrupts the influx of calcium ions into cells.
