28. Castel del Monte
Castle del Monte was built by Emperor Frederick in 13th century near Bari. It reflects a unique military architecture of medieval times of Italy. The most fascinating feature of this monument is that it does not reflect the regular features of military architecture of that period but echoes mathematical and astronomically perfect shapes and layout.
27. Villa d’Este, Tivoli
The Villa d’Este is the finest example of Renaissance culture. The palace and garden at the Villa d’Este have spectacular designs in the various garden components like the ornamental basins, fountains etc. These gardens have been the inspiration behind the several garden designs throughout Europe.
