The spread of Christianity in Europe is attributed to the Patriarchal Basilica, which makes it even more significant.

35. Royal Palace at Caserta


Situated in the southern part of Italy, the construction of Royal Place of Caserta was started in 1752. Supposed to be built for Charles VII of Naples, it was completed only in 1759 and was used by his son Ferdinand 1V of Naples. Constructed in 18th century, this was considered the largest palace in Europe.
