6. Thailand Floods
Started from 31st July and continued till December, Thailand experienced severe flooding during 2011 monsoon season. Caused due to Tropical Storm, flooding spread not only through the provinces of Central and Northeaster and Northern Thailand but also affected population of five nations. Death toll increases 800 and 65 provinces of Thailand were flooded. In terms of disaster, it has been declared as the worst flooding.
