2. Shelley Beach, Manly, North Sydney
Shelley Beach is close to Manly Beach but not well known. It’s a quiet, intimate little spot with clear turquoise waters, white sands and beautiful coves. This beach is in Sydney but there’s nothing of the city here.
3. Murrays Beach, Jervis Bay, NSW
Hyams Beach right next door is famed for the whitest sands in the world, but Murrays Beach is quieter, less populated and with even whiter sands. It’s right opposite an island, is sheltered, it’s part of a National Park and therefore protected from development.
