5. Irene Dunne
Irene Dunne was an American singer and film actress, who was popular between 1930’s and early 1950’s. She received five Academy Award nominators for various roles in Cimarron, Theodora Goes Wild, The Awful Truth, Love Affair and I Remember Mama. Dunne is considered by some film experts as one of the best actresses never to get an Academy Award. She was awarded Bellarmine Medal, Laetare Medal and Kennedy Center Honor.
