Barbara Stanwyck was an American TV and film actress, who won a Golden Globe and three Emmy Awards. She also received four Academy Awards nominations for her roles on Stella Dallas, Ball of Fire, Double Indemnity and Sorry, Wrong Number. During her nearly four decades of film acting career, she was involved 85 films before choosing to focus on televisions. The American Film Institute ranked her as the 12th greatest female star and the Hollywood Walk of Fame has one star for her.
