11. Carlsbad Caverns National Park
The Carlsbad Park in New Mexico is known for the more than 100 limestone caves. These caves are well known for their mode of origin, size, diversity and beauty of the rock formations that have taken place over thousands of years. The Lechuguilla cave is the most significant as it has an underground laboratory where biological and geological processes are carried out.
