4. Atlantic Empress and Aegean Captain
During the evening of July 1979 in the coast of Tobago and Trinidad, one of the largest oil tanker spill happened in the history of mankind. The accident did not involve one tanker but two. This is the reason that the accident is truly devastating. The two tankers soon leaked oil and one of them finally exploded which killed two dozens of people.
