5. Ludke Bruno (51 victims)
Ludke Bruno is a serial killer from Germany, who had killed at least 51 victims in a period of 15 years since 1928. He was arrested by the police force of Nazi Germany while committing an open act of necrophilia. He confessed almost immediately, but witness reported that Bruno has been forced to deliver the confession because his body showed signs of torture. No evidence ever presented in the court and there seemed to be no consistency in all 51 cases blamed on him. Declared insane, he was sent to a hospital for test subject of medical experiments until his death in 1944 by lethal injection.
