2. Olympic Flame
Continuing with the tradition of the ancient Olympic Games, the Olympic Flame has been lit at all the Olympic Games. The tradition of lighting a flame started from Olympia where the flame was ignited by the sun and kept burning till the entire duration of the Games. Keeping the practice even today the Olympic flame is lit in Olympia and it then traverses through various countries and cities and reaches the hosting city where it burns until the conclusion of the Games.
