5. Certain Foods are best if the Organic variety is chosen
There are certain foods that are heavily contaminated with chemicals when produced traditionally. These include apples, potatoes, peaches, pears, cherries, grapes, strawberries, lettuce, spinach, celery and bell peppers. Bought by the dozens, these food varieties are best if the organic variety is chosen. The non-organic variety of these foods is highly contaminated and does more harm than good.
4. Dairy and Sea Food too can be Organic
There hasn’t been any USDA regulation on the seafood and most seafood can be assumed to contain mercury up to a certain level. Therefore, those concerned can stick to certain varieties of sea food that are known to contain either no or minute level of contamination. These varieties of seafood include oysters, shrimp, fresh water trout, crab, tilapia, sardines and salmon. On the other hand, dairy products are different in the sense that they can be organic if the animals from which these products came have not been administered any growth hormones or antibiotics during the procedure.
