8. Johnny Depp (Jack Sparrow in The Pirates of Caribbean film series)
Originally, Jack Sparrow was conceived as a supporting character, but eventually becomes the most distinctive character of the film series. Johnny Depp managed to bring life to the character by combining elements from Pepe Le Pew, a cartoon character, and Keith Richards, the guitarist of Rolling Stones. He walks with flailing hand gestures and slightly drunken swagger. Sparrow is shrewd, calculating and intelligent; preferring to tackle any dispute verbally with slurred speech.
