Verdi or Giuseppe Verdi Francesco Fortunino was an Italian composer, who is currently known for excellent opera works. Verdi was one of the most influential Italian composers in 19th century, comparable to Rossini, Dnizetti and Bellini. Verdi’s works are still performed in various opera houses around the world. His notable works are Triumphal March, Coro di Zingari, Va Pensiero and Brandisi. Verdi is a politically engaged and a visionary individual in 19th century Italy. Alongside Cavour and Garibaldi, Verdi was an important figure in the unification process of the Italian peninsula.
