Bach or Johann Sebastian Bach was a German composer, harpsichordist and organist from the Baroque era. Bach has a legendary reputation as a very skilled harpsichordist and organist. Besides harpsichord and organ, Bach also played viola da gamba and violin. Bach is a prolific Baroque era composer and his works are known for their technical perfection and intellectual depth. Notable works of Bach are Toccata, Goldberg Variations, Musical Offering, Art of Fugue, St. Matthew Passion, Mass in B Minor, Well-Tempered Clavier and Brandenburg Concertos.
