Whoopi Goldberg or Caryn Elaine Johnson is an American TV presenter, producer, activist, singer, comedian and actress. Through her career, Goldberg received numerous awards including an Oscar, two Emmys, a Grammy, a Tony, two Golden Globes and a BAFTA. Her worldwide recognition began when she played in Ghost, which earned her an Academy Award for best supporting actress. She also played in several movies, including Sister Act and its sequel, Girl, The Lion King, Star Trek: Nemesis and Racing Stripes.
