Mark Robert Michael Wahlberg was a former rapper and an American actor. In his early years, Wahlberg was known as Marky Mark and he became a part of the Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch.
Mark Wahlberg has a quite successful film career that he decided to abandon rap music. His film debut was the Substitute (1993), where he credited as Marky Mark. In Fear (1996), Wahlberg received his first award, the MTV Movie Award in Best Villain category. His other notable films are Three Kings, The Perfect Storm, Planet of the Apes, The Italian Job, Four Brothers, Invincible, The Departed, Shooter, Max Payne and The Fighter
