8. Eye Contact
People who look to the sides when they are speaking are generally nervous or lying, especially if they struggle to make eye contact at all. If they occasionally look away while they are speaking then it could be because it’s intimidating, and often difficult, to keep eye contact at all times.
Someone who looks down a lot could be shy or nervous. If they seem distant and their eyes unfocused then it could mean they are distracted on uninterested.
