Billed as one of the best organic food stores in town, St. Josef is also a vegetarian in-crowd place to lunch. The daily menu (one soup, one main dish, two sizes) changes every day and is strongly influenced by St. Josef’s multiethnic crew. The salads and antipasti from the salad bar are first class; do try the grilled pumpkin in olive oil when it’s in season.
Some people say that too many young mothers hang around here talking too much about baby diets, but it’s still undoubtedly a great place to recharge your batteries with healthy food and fresh juices. Note: the name comes from an pet cemetery that used to be on this corner. Bon appetit!
