The Flyer Bar certainly lives up to its name: it seems that just about every advertisement from the past two decades of São Paulo party history has found a place here. The walls were probably painted once, but now they are covered with the dates of events and names of bands, on paper of every possible color.

But this bar isn’t just about the décor. Located near the busy Rua Frei Caneca, it is the ideal spot to sit outside and gaze at all the different scenesters as they stroll by. From Rock`n Roll addicts to punks to new ravers to young conservatives, it’s a fascinating parade of humanity—and some might even stop by the bar for a shot or two.
