La Flèche d'Or
The golden arrow of Parisian nightlife

This very well-known club is perched in a former beautiful station of the now-abandoned circular railway, in the 20th arrondissement. It’s named after the Flèche d’Or train that operated the route between Paris and Calais in the late 1920s.

Keeping its glorious past alive—arched ceilings, warehouse-style windows and grass-covered train tracks—La Flèche d’Or’s halls now host live concerts of the indie-rock and electro nature. A separate restaurant offers a solid menu of salads and burgers, though the food is more likely fuel to keep energy at a peak when dancing to the typically excellent line-up, which has included TV on the Radio, Poni Hoax and Nelson, along with DJ sets from the DFA, Recordmakers and Ed Banger minions.
