A tad off the beaten path of Miami’s contemporary art galleries, a trip to Diana Lowenstein Fine Arts is worth the extra stop.

A member of the Lowenstein clan—Argentinean transplants who own many hospitality properties around town like the Ritz-Carlton, South Beach—she’s not only connected but very supportive of her homeland’s art scene. However, the gallery’s selection isn’t limited to Latin American art.

Among some 35 artists she represents, Carlos Betancourt, Rabindranat Diaz Arjona and Luis Alonzo-Barkigia are a few to check out.
