Friends Charlotte Vigel and Tina Ipsen always wanted to be in business together, but their decision to open this “karamelkogeri” has yielded some delicious surprises.

If you’re a sucker for sweet things, Karamelleriet will be your best friend. Think of it as a Danish equivalent to Willy Wonka, without the hypercolor stage settings and creepy umpa lumpas.

To find this one-of-a-kind store, follow the delicious aroma of carmel all the way to the newly revived Jægersborggade in Nørrebro, where Karamelleriet has set up a little production house of handmade delights. Devour creamy vanilla fudge, tasty toffee peanut crunch, or any one of their decadent and delicious caramel flavours. Just be sure to follow up your visit with a trip to the dentist.
