Philip Gaedicke, aka Philly Vanilli, doesn’t speak much, but does a lot. He’s the co-founder of SOTO, the Berlin menswear boutique which also doubles as a brand consultancy, PR, marketing and events agency. He’s also the curator of MADE, a creative platform that supports emerging talent from all genres. Philly has been living in Berlin for five years now and doesn’t plan to leave any time soon. The only real shopping destination in Kreuzberg. The shop is hidden in the backyard and is super well-decorated. Their strongest items are all the small little things you don’t need, but want to have.
The Wood Wood crew are good friends of ours and we love their selection of Scandinavian designers and of course their always emerging Wood Wood line.

Definitely worth checking it out when you’re looking for a more skate-oriented style. Lot of T-Shirts, Hoodies and 5-panel caps from your favourite bands such as HUF, Anything, Nike SB, Vans etc. They also run art exhibitions in their space.
For me definitely the best shop in Berlin. Great selection of designers like Dries van Noten, Maison Margiela, Yohi Yamamoto and Balenciaga, plus a wide array of product design and furniture.
Best selection when it comes to Japanese premium streetwear. Brands include Visvim, White Mountaineering, Neighbourhood, W-Taps etc.
