Let’s face it: we all love a good croissant in the morning. And while we may settle for the bone-dry kind churned out by most cafes, there is one little outlet in Neukölln producing a quality croissant comparable to that of a Parisian patisserie.
Established in Pannierstraße over five years ago, Croissanterie yields little buttered beauties containing moist, cloudy centers beneath a crisp and crumbly outer shell. Their menu isn’t just restricted to delicious pastries like the pekan-nuss slice, however: freshly filled rolls and decent espressos round out the offerings from this blip of a bakery jam-packed in the mornings for good reason.
