Built by skateboarders for skateboarders, this house of fun started life as a DIY project in the disused railway barns next to Warschauer Straße station but has since matured into the city’s primary purpose built skate spot—it’s battered ramps, rails and verts receiving an Adidas endorsed facelift.
Graffiti sprawls over the majority of the walls looking down on the largest vert ramp in Germany (standing at 4.2 metres—parachutes available for beginners), an X-games-standard half-pipe, street section, various mini-ramps and even a ‘Hubbaledge’—a nod to the infamous Hubba Hideout skate spot in San Francisco. It’s an equal opportunities board-riding brethren too—the first and third Sunday of each month is ‘Girl’s Night’. And they sure as hell know how to (take a) bump and grind (a rail).
