Jiří Švestka Berlin is the offshoot of Švestka’s prominent Prague gallery and promotes international, modern and contemporary art both in the Czech Republic and abroad. The multifaceted gallery has put a focus on increasing the profile of young, established, artists as well as introducing Eastern European newcomers to a global audience.

Founded in 2009, Jiří Švestka Berlin has already exhibited a dazzling array of young Central European talent including the works Kristof Kintera, Josef Bolf and Michal Pechoucek—each demonstrating their mastery of the Czech art scene in all their conceptual, mixed-media glory.
