After two successful years running the Liga gallery on Linienstraße and pushing dozens of so-called “Young Leipzig School” artists into the arty sky, Christian Ehrentraut closed his space in 2004 with the words “Mission Accomplished.”

After retreating to his home and presenting artists in his private rooms, he returns to show his finds publicly with the opening of a new, spacious place on the northern end of Friedrichstraße.

Ehrentraut stays with what he knows best: painting, and continues his success with artists like Ruprecht von Kaufmann, Franziska Holstein, Martin Kobe and Stephanie Dost.
