Back to business

After two successful years running the Liga gallery on Linienstraße and pushing dozens of so-called “Young Leipzig School” artists into the arty sky, Christian Ehrentraut closed his space in 2004 with the words “Mission Accomplished”.

After retreating to his home and presenting artists in his private rooms, he returned to show his findings publicly with the opening of a spacious place on the northern end of Friedrichstraße. Sticking to what he knows best—painting—Ehrentraut has continued his success exhibiting an exciting array of artists such as Ruprecht von Kaufmann, Franziska Holstein, Martin Kobe and Stephanie Dost.
