The covered terrace outside Jaica is rarely less than full on the weekend, testament to its established reputation as one of Barcelona’s best tapas spots. It’s much the same story inside, though we recommend that you wait your turn at the curved wooden bar, in anticipation of savoring the culinary experience. A glass of their draft beer should help you happily pass the time.
The selection here largely focuses on seafood dishes, and the Mejillones (mussels in tomato vinaigrette) are a particular highlight. All the dishes are worth sampling, as they are all invested with a distinct élan that ensures the people will continue to turn up in droves.
