Brasilia


Capital of Brazil, Brasilia is a well planned city situated in the heart of the country. The foundation stone of the city was laid on 22nd of April in 1960. Just five years before its foundation, the area was a complete desert with just with few trees. The beautiful look of today is the result of architect Oscar Niemeyer’s efforts who was hired by President Juscelino Kubitschek in 1956.
