9. Charlotte Corday
Charlotte Corday or Marie Anne Charlotte Corday d’Armont is a supporter of the Girondins and an important person in the French revolution. She gained popularity for the murder of Jean-Paul Marat. To protect her from the angry mob, Corday was arrested by the authority and brought to the Abbaye prison for interrogation and investigation. Charlotte Corday was sentenced to death and guillotined on July 1973.
