9. SS Eastland
On July 24, 1915, SS Eastland was commissioned to pick some employees from Chicago’s Western Electric Company to a social gathering in Michigan. This is a major event for the employees so there are many people who came together in the boat. SS Eastland has exceeded its capacity that it rolled-over and about 845 people died.
