During the WWII, Wilhelm Gustloff faced its end as the S-13 submarine of the Soviet Union fired three torpedoes on its way. It was formerly designed to be a hospital ship and changed into a barracks for Kriegsmarine. Over 9,000 people lost their lives. Most people might not be too familiar with the story of MV Wilhelm Gustloss because it happened during wartime.
