8. Automobile
It is impossible to imagine a life without automobiles. The development of the wheel was a breakthrough development, but the development of automobiles as self-propelled vehicles has its importance as well. Initially, the vehicles were steam-powered models which were then worked upon and improved. The modern day gas engine is an improved version of the internal combustion engine that was designed way back in 1885.
