3. Richard III (1955)
This is based on Shakespeare’s historical of the same name. It also takes elements from the play Henry VI. The film follows the story of Richard III plotting to overthrow the throne of his brother King Edward IV. In the process many are killed. Richard’s evil eventually leads to his own downfall.
