3. Henry Darger
Darger had a troubled life right after the death of his mother when he was just four. Suffering from some kind of illness, Henry led a reclusive life away from the society. Not much about his work was known till he lived but came only to light when he died in 1973. His artistic creativity came to light from his room when several of his creations were discovered. Today his watercolor paintings and drawings command a high respect in the art and literature circles.
