10. Heath Ledger
A prolific actor, Heath mainly came to the limelight after his role as a cowboy in the movie, Brokeback Mountain. He did several movies each having their share of success but his sudden death due to medicine overdose shot him to overnight fame for his role as The Joker in the movie The Dark Knight. The movie did exceptionally well after his death and he was even awarded an academy award posthumously.
