9. Lord of the Rings
Directed by Peter Jackson and starring Sir Ian McKellen and Elijah Wood, the Lord of the Rings is an epic fantasy. J. R. R. Tolkien wrote the story of the novel as a sequel to a children’s fantasy story, The Hobbit. Later it was made into a movie. The Lord of the Rings was made as a trilogy with three epic movies.
