8. The Earth’s Atmosphere
The Earth has its capability to sustain life due to the layers of atmosphere that enclose it. Had it not been for these layers of atmosphere, life on Earth would have been not possible. The different layers of atmosphere that enclose the Earth include the mesosphere, exosphere, ionosphere, thermosphere and the troposphere. The troposphere is the layer that supports life on Earth. It is also the thinnest of the layers and is only 10 miles high.
