Hedra Carlson is a new roommate to Allison Jones, who advertised for one. She is a deeply disturbed, manipulative and secretive character, who begins to copy Allison’s physical appearance. Posing as Allie, she regularly goes to underground sex clubs and has an affair with Allison’s fiancée, Sam. When Sam realizes that she is a different woman, Hedra kills him using a stiletto heel in an unforgotten scene of the film. Allison finally kills Hedra during the final struggle.
