1. Visit Laser Summer Show at the Edmontons Telus world of science

Every year Canada celebrates the great day with fantastic Laser Show. This entertainment was made for everybody and you can take the whole family with you. Parents will adore Laser Floyd show and girls will be glad to see Laser Bieber Show. Shows with other famous bands are also included.

Beware of strong language. Some shows include this kind of speaking. The presence of the parents is necessary for kids.

Time: From 1 July to 4 of September. Saturday or Friday night at 8:15-9:30 PM.

Cost: $12 for 1 show per night.

$18 for 2 shows per night.

Place: Telus World of Science this summer and fall.

Free parking and access to public transport.

2. Edmonton Folk Music Festival

Are you fond of folk music and going to visit Edmonton in August? Do not worry if you are not able to visit it this year! According to the official site info it will take place there annually up to 2018 year! Artists of upcoming festival will be announced on the Wednesday right before the tickets sale starts. Be aware of all events.

3. Casino Niagara

Located on the site of the former maple leaf village amusement park this casino is home to over 1500 slot machines, over 40 table games as well as a large section of sports betting that takes place on site. It is also accompanied by a Poker Room that offers 12 tables and has become such a wonder that reservations are needed to have a seating.

This site also happens to be built next to the breathtaking waterfall that is under the same name. This casino has over 95,000 ft where it hosts its casino section.

4. Fort Edmonton Park

Always wanted to travel in time? All your wishes will come true in Fort Edmonton Park. It is a place where time has stopped. This place includes different areas of the Edmonton’s past from 1885 to 1925 year. Friendly staff in old-fashioned costumes will answer all your questions and will tell you many interesting stories about Edmonton.

You can try to ride an old steam train, play interesting games and learn to bake in old fashioned way here in park. Feel like modern Marty McFly. You will be happy of low prices and comfortable parking. Also there is a gift shop where you can find many fascinating souvenirs for your friends.

5. Independent canoe trip to Edmonton

From the beginning of June to the end September at Saturday and Sunday you can try to drift the North Saskatchewan River with you own route from Devon To Edmonton. Try an unforgettable experience of mysterious wildlife. Go fishing or swim in this amazing river. The cost of $79 includes canoes for 2 persons, paddles and life jackets, safety equipment and transport to the point of departure of your new exciting trip.

Spend 5-6 hours rafting the river of North Saskatchewan alone. This trip is not accompanied. You can paddle wherever you want. Never forget to take a raincoat, protective cream, food and water. It is a really good place for traveling and photo sessions. You need to be back in Emily Murphy Park at your car right to 5 PM.
