10 Things to Think About Before a Run

3 Mins read

8. Music

Some people just don’t like listening to music when they run. That’s fine but if you are a music fan then there are plenty of songs out there that can be matched to your pace. Generally, anything with a beat of 160bpm is a fast run. For a jog, look for songs 130bpm to 150bpm.

It’s always good to have a power song too, especially if you are flagging a bit. Find a song that has a good beat and makes you feel good. If you have the Nike+ app then the built in music player supports power songs, you just tap a button and it’ll play one of your predefined choices.
