Battle of Pelusium (Loss ratio 1:7); according Ctesias Cambyses II was a king of the Achaemenid Empire further expanded his father’s gain, Cambyses I, into Egypt. After a prolonged siege, Pharaoh Psamatik III, surrendered himself and his throne was transferred to Cambyses II.
