Michael Faraday was an important British physics in the field of electrochemistry and electromagnetism. He discovered basic concepts of modern-day electricity and electronics, such as electromagnetic induction, magnetic field, diamagnetism and electrolysis. As a very influential scientist, Faraday received little formal education. An accident involving nitrogen chloride caused him to spend the remainder of his life suffering chemical poisoning, which contributes to his death years later.
