Why I Love Mumbai!

Why I Love Mumbai!

Mumbai, the city of dreams, is in the hearts of millions of people. It embraces you with open arms and inspires you to do something with your life and thus, make your dreams come true. In this city, hutments exist along with skyscrapers. The city caters to the India’s richest as well as the poorest equally. Though there are a few things you complain about (like the slow moving traffic, the taxi-wala’s who always say no to take every passenger to their destination, beggars thriving at corner of every street), the goodness Mumbai has to offer you is incredible. Here is a list of things why I have fallen in love with Mumbai.

For me, Mumbai has a mix of all possible communities of people, who when united lead to the colourful, unique, open-minded and cosmopolitan culture.

Festive Celebrations

No other city in the world celebrates festivals with so much of passion, joy, devotion and madness. And Ganesh Chaturthi is one which is worth mentioning! Ganesh is the lord of Mumbai who unites the city like no other. The festive celebrations which lasts for 10 days light up the entire city and the atmosphere turns crazy. The people in apartments of Mumbai come together and celebrate the festivals. Not just that. There are other celebrations which are celebrated grandly here like ‘Eid gatherings, processions during Christmas. Hundreds of community rituals, walks and rallies keep happening every now and then.
