  1. Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main

Previously known as the All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE), the JEE Main will evaluate your knowledge of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. While applying to a college with your JEE score, you must understand the interdependence of the JEE rankings and scores.   1. Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET)

If you want to enrol in an undergraduate engineering program, in an engineering institute in Andhra Pradesh, then you have to appear for the EAMCET. In order to appear for this examination, you have to score a minimum of forty-five percent marks in your class twelve board examination. Candidates from the Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Castes, need to achieve a minimum of forty percent in their class twelve board examinations in order to appear for the EAMCET. Moreover, you will have to fulfil the local and non-local status as specified by the examination authority.

  1. Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)

This examination is taken by candidates who want to pursue post-graduation or doctorate courses in engineering. Candidates who have completed a graduate degree in engineering, technology, architecture or pharmacy are considered eligible for the GATE examination. Similarly, if you have completed a Masters Degree in Science, Mathematics, Statistics/ or Computer Applications, then also, you can appear for GATE.
