Mudumalai National Park is said to be the best Wildlife reserve in the state of Tamil Nadu. The reserve is famous for its rich wildlife and flora. It is estimated that a total of 50 tigers exist in the dedicated tiger reserve which is a part of the National Park. The reception center of this park lies in Theppakadu and about five miles from here is the village of Masinagudi. Besides, the reception at Theppakadu itself provides accommodations to visitors in the rest houses that built inside the forests. The availability of the accommodations provided by the park’s authority is limited and usually offered on the first-come-first-served basis.
