3. Redwood National and State Parks
Comprising a part of coastal mountains north of San Francisco, the Redwood National Park is covered with magnificent forest of redwood trees. These trees have existed in the region for millions of years and some of them are the oldest in the world. The park has rich marine, land and plant life as well.
