The Mesa Verde National Park owes its significance to the various sites of the Mesa Verde that are testimony to the ancient traditions of the tribes of the Native Americans. These dwellings from the prehistoric Ancestral Puebloan culture show the way of life led by the ancient people of the south-west Americans.
